"Lockdown State" -Unable to Create a New Library in SAS University

Hello,

I am using a mac and have been trying to create a new library in SAS university. I enter a "name" and have tried entering the physical path on my computer where I want to save my data under "path." For example: /myname/desktop/myfolders/. And I get the error message that states "The path is invalid because it is not in the list of accessible paths when SAS is in the lockdown state."

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thank you!!

You cannot reference random locations on your real machine. You need to map them in the virtual machine definition and then refer to them by their name in the virtual machine.  Re-read the installation instructions.
