It should be port 10080, not 10800.

Strange. I haven't used UE for a while ... what happens when you start the vApp in VirtualBox?

From the link:

Note: When the virtual machine is running, the screen with the SAS logo is replaced with a black console screen (called the Welcome window). You can minimize this window, but do not close the Welcome window until you are ready to end your SAS session

Does that window appear?

Definitely some process is using those ports. In Linux its easier trace which processes and what resources are being used. There is a similar tool essential tools in Windows to see the same ive used in the past to do this - I have dig deep im my archives look for it.

You either shut down that process that uses that port or default it to manual start and not automatic. Or uninstall the other software that maybe using it. My experience tells me port numbers being shared by installed software can use those one of them is localhost.

Just sharing my past experience though.

Hi @sarah-Abdulaziz,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! It sounds like you've tried a lot of the troubleshooting suggestions so far:

Why am I seeing an "Unable to connect" or "This page can't be displayed" error?

Usage Note 53791: SAS® University Edition Best Practices: Recommended Configurations and Troubleshoo...

If none of those suggestions works, you might try downloading and reimporting the latest SAS University Edition vApp into your virtualization software.

I hope that helps.
