What does "-R" mean

Hi everyone

I have a very quick question. I saw in someone else's code they were using the option "-R" with a format statement. Here is an example:

newvar=put (oldvar, 7.1-R)

Does anybody know what the -R do or stand for?

Thank you

Re: What does "-R" mean

You would get an even quicker answer to your question if you looked at the documentation for the PUT function. It's right there near the top.

-R  right aligns the value
