University Edition form and different types of regression

Hi, I am a healthcare pharmacist and graduate student from China Pharmaceutical University. My research need some statistic procedures including multiple linear regression, logistic regression, and Cox-proportional hazard regression. Can the university edition do these jobs? PS: No matter what computer environment (Win, OS X), is the virtual machine had to be install prior the use of the university edition? Is there anyway to just use the SAS without the install of virtual machine? Tom

Well, the first, multiple linear regression is definately there:

SAS UE is a training tool, providing software to you for free for limited learning reasons.  Hence why it comes all setup on an image.  As far as I am aware you would always need to install it as an image as its a locked down version.

To my knowledge, you have all the SAS/STAT procedures available in UE.

See Is there anything else I should know before I start using SAS University Edition? for an overview of the limitations

Hi, Dray It seems that the University Edition cannot do survival analysis.
