Unable to download University edition

Hello Sir,

I am a student who is interested in learning SAS.

I have tried to download SAS University edition a lot of times...but always after 800-900 mb download, it stops, it doesn't further proceed.

I tried with download manager, same after downloading 900mb it is showing "http 403 error".

I have already download VMware, but this one is not getting downloaded.

Also there is no problem in my internet connectivity.

Sir a very kind and humble request, Please help me in giving me some solution to download it.

While there can be any number of reasons your download is failing, you might want to look at using SAS OnDemand for Academics.  It's a hosted solution that doesn't require a download.  You can visit https://odamid.oda.sas.com and click the register link.  Note, it will not have access to your local files like UE but you can upload files to work with them.  Both solutions have their pros and cons.  This is just an alternative.

Re: Unable to download University edition

There isn't much anyone can do. The file you're trying to download is 2GB so you need to make absolutely sure you have a good connection to download the file. Keep trying is all anyone can suggest and make sure your computer doesn't go to sleep or something during the download process.

If you're getting a 403 error I suspect you're behind some type of firewall or security system. If you have an alternate computer try downloading it there and moving it over using a USB key.

Another option as indicated is to use SAS UE on AWS - small costs will be incurred or SAS Academics on Demand - no charge but a file limit of 10MB per file.
