I have created my own custom ODS template using SASWEB as the base. I call it SaMsWeB. I have used it in desktop Base SAS without any issues. However when I run it in SAS University Edition i get the following error message:
%let macrolocation=/folders/myfolders/CSS4WinMac; filename util "¯olocation./util.sas";%include util / NOsource2;
56 %let macrolocation=/folders/myfolders/CSS4WinMac; 57 filename util "¯olocation./util.sas";%include util / NOsource2; SYMBOLGEN: Macro variable MACROLOCATION resolves to /folders/myfolders/CSS4WinMac ERROR: Template 'Tagsets.ExcelBase' was unable to write to template store! ERROR: Template 'Tagsets.Config_debug' was unable to write to template store! ERROR: Template 'Tagsets.ExcelXP' was unable to write to template store! WARNING: Errors were produced. WARNING: No matching members in directory. ERROR: Write access to member SASUSER.TEMPLAT.ITEMSTOR is denied. ERROR: Template 'Styles.SaMsWeB' was unable to write to template store! Pls help in understanding what do I need to differently for University Edition.

One cannot write to the default sasuser libname. Your program will work if you overwrite the default sasuser with a line like
libname sasuser "/folders/myfolders/SAS-site/sas7b";
I have put that line in my autoexec.sas.
