SAS code to celebrate Pi Day 2017

[ Edited ]

Pi Day is a big deal here at SAS. Our cafeterias served complimentary pie. We had a 3.14-mile fun run. Our geeky pi humor is all over social media. And that's just the tip of the ice berg. (By the way, that's SAS Chief Customer Officer Fritz Lehman showing off the pi cufflink.)Pi Day 2017.png

So I couldn't let Pi Day pass without sharing some SAS code to help you celebrate. This year, I'm pleased to present @Rick_SAS's blog post, "Find your birthday in the digits of pi." Get your PROC IML or SAS DATA step ready. See for yourself how you can find your birthday (or whatever date you want) within the first 10 million digits of pi.

You're welcome. Are you celebrating Pi Day? Tell us about it in the comments below.

I've been so excited to wear them and grateful the weather was cool enough too. Shame that I didn't have them on display all day. I was tempted to start a new trend of socks and heels. LOL! Smiley LOL
