I am power engineering student(M.Sc).How do I apply SAS in my field?

Do you need analysis or reporting automated? Or do you need to do statistical analysis? Or data management? Those would be the three primary area's that it would be used.

If I may ask, what do you mean by reporting automated? could that be related to SCADA? I have found the Electric load forecasting and analyis interesting.

SAS is used for quality control in manufacturing.

Hi @AJIBOLA, this paper (Weathering the Storm: Using Predictive Analytics to Minimize Utility Outages) gives you one example of the kind of work you could with SAS in your field. What sort of analysis interests you? I'm glad to look for other examples.

Thanks @BeverlyBrown for the paper.It is really helpful. I am interested in the transmission/distribution load forecast analysis.
