SAS University Edition on AWS Limitations?

Hello,

Do you know if the SAS University Edition on AWS has the same limitation of 4 gigs of memory and two cores as the desktop version?

Thanks.

Robert

Hey Robert,

Essentially, the answer to your question is, "Yes." To explain further, SAS University Edition on AWS supports 3 AWS compute environments with system specs defined by AWS:

  • t2.micro - 1 virtual core, 1GB RAM -- this is the "Free Tier Eligible" compute instance that is free for the first 12 months to new AWS users who are eligible.
  • t2.small - 1 virtual core, 2GB RAM
  • t2.medium - 2 virtual cores, 4GB RAM.
