Hi, I can't download the University edition. I downloaded the Oracle VM, but keep getting permissions denied for the SAS U download. Seems like others have had this problem. Is it best to call or is there another way to get the download?

This is a nightmare. I uninstalled version 5.1.22; the newest version.
That did not allow the download, so I uninstalled and went to version
5.1.6; which; allowed the download, but the VM does not come up. I can't
install over the 5.1.6. Going to keep at it, but I think the process is
flawed. Just keeps getting worse. I'm running Windows 10 on a brand new
Dell. Makes me like R even more.
Think I'll cut the grass instead.

I honestly can't understand that. The downloads are entirely separate. You download Oracle VirtualBox from Oracles website and SAS UE VM from this website.
Open Oracle VBox and then import the virtual machine you downloaded from SAS.
If Oracle VBox doesn't work - freeware has it's issues, I recommend VMWare.
Otherwise you can use the cloud version via Academics on Demand -> Independent Learner version.

Hi, @BobWasicak. A new version was made available today and there was a problem for a bit. It has been corrected and you should be able to download the OVA file now.
