Next thing I would check for are any spelling issues with user or password like extra blank spaces or case or possibly special characters?

I got this error when accessing Enterprise Miner
To fix this issue
Logon to SAS Management Console
Select "User Manager"
Select "Show Users" only
Select user who is having problem in accessing Enterprise Miner
Right click on user
Select "Accounts" Tab
Add user ID by selecting New, Authentication Domain as "DefaultAuth".
This should resolve your above error.
