Hello Malcolm,

Check out the Toronto Area SAS Society, TASS, at http://www.torsas.ca/home.php  Unfortunatly, their quarterly meeting was just held in September and the presentations apear to be at an advanced level.  Get on their email list to learn about future local events.

The Toronto Public Library has a subscription to the O'Reilly Safari Books Online, http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/detail.jsp?Entt=RDMEDB0099&R=EDB0099 .  Anyone with a library card can use it for free.  In the subscription available at my Librarys, Seattle Public and King County Public, there are many SAS books including all three of the recent books targeted to SAS University Edition use.  Install University Edition, check out one of the books, and start working through it.

Take care,

Paul OldenKamp

Well, you have a lot of information on these forums.  For graphs:

http://blogs.sas.com/content/graphicallyspeaking/

Also, there are many white papers out there on various subjects, LexJansen is a name to look out for.

And there is the SAS manual which is very comprehensive, if sometimes difficult to find things.]

You could try SAS certification, a fair few people do that starting out to show some experience.

Otherwise the best way to learn is to do, no replacement for it.

Thank you very much for your kind advise. I will certainly look into the link that you provided me with. I have downloaded SAS university edition to practice. Is there a manual to learn codes that should be entered? Where do I find the LexJansen information?

Thank you again Smiley Happy
