Thanks to Beverly and Jennifer, I've found a couple of datasets in the curated datasets archives that works really well for both my advanced business analytics course and my marketing analysis course at my university. They are the bank marketing data sets found at: http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/machine-learning-databases/00222/bank.zip and http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/machine-learning-databases/00222/bank-additional.zip. Credit for making this data available goes to: [Moro et al., 2011] S. Moro, R. Laureano and P. Cortez. Using Data Mining for Bank Direct Marketing: An Application of the CRISP-DM Methodology. In P. Novais et al. (Eds.), Proceedings of the European Simulation and Modelling Conference - ESM'2011, pp. 117-121, Guimarães, P ortugal, October, 2011. EUROSIS. Thanks also to Chris H for his useful ideas, tips and examples for using proc http to download zip files larger than the SAS OnDemand upload size limit to the SODA AWS Centos SAS system temporary folder location, and using the filename zip device for aggregate and member level access to the zipped multifiles.
