Libname in SAS University Edition : Create / Use Perm Data Set

I am a bit confused (nothing new, it seems), but would appreciate some help/clarification about creating new permanent SAS data sets using the SAS UE/SAS Studio interface.  Can you code a libname statement in the UE to "establish a library reference" to either the MYFOLDERS file or another location where you can save a SAS data set created within the UE so it can be used at a future time? I am just not seeing how to do that in the UE.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Libname in SAS University Edition : Create / Use Perm Data Set

Same as any other system.

libname mylib '/folders/myfolders/';

data mylib.class;
set sashelp.class;
run;

The GUI interface of creating a library does allow you to add the libname statement to your autoexec so the it executes everytime SAS UE starts up. I don't know of a SAS option to code a permanent libname.
