You can now download the most recent release of University Edition with all of the fixes already applied. So if you are stuck with an update problem, go to http://www.sas.com/universityedition and get a new copy.

Still does not work after new installation. I am on a Mac. Can this be the reason?

I've tried second time. It's important to delete the browser's history right before applying the update. Otherwise it has still resulted in the error message after starting.
