Import data from excel file on desktop into SAS Studio University

I've tried to import into SAS Studio an xlsx file that I created and saved on this desktop- using the code specified here: http://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/faq/SAS_accessdata_Excel.htm , and in quotes- in lieu of the ellipsis (after the DATAFILE="...")-specifying the file path to the excel file (located in a folder on my desktop); however, the file won't import.

Does the SAS Studio University edition support importing data from excel?

Many thanks in advance!

From that link:

This file must be saved in one of your shared folders.  If your Excel file is saved in My Folders, an example filename is /folders/myfolders/Sales.xlsx.  If you have created additional shared folders, an example filename is folders/myshortcuts/folder1/Sales.xlsx.

Your desktop is not likely to be a shared folder per that definition. The file must be in myfolders or a subordinate shared folder.
