ISO-Latin characters in column values

As I load a csv file as a SAS dataset I cannot import columns with text values including tildes and other characters. The browser is already in a local language supporting tildes. How can I include column text values including ISO-Latin characters?

Hi  , are you using University Edition of SAS OnDemand for Academics? What resources have you consulted so far? Some more detail will help us help you. This article describes how to write an inquiry so that your peers can provide the best help.

Hi I am using the virtual machine in my desktop. So far, I tried to find something in the support area of your web, I found some information related to the LOCALE=  option but I do not know how to include it in my installation, if possible. I also searched in the forum (I do not remember the search terms I used) but I was not able to find anything related.

coming back to the problem, I wrote a program that works perfectly with this excerpt of data

When I changed, for example, PROMOCIoN to PROMOCIóN, the print procedure outputs an error and does not finish.

I hope the problem is now clearer.

Hi , I checked with an expert here. For this particular issue, she recommends contacting Technical Support: http://support.sas.com/techsup/contact/.
