How to save .sas7bdat datasets from SAS University edition?

Output in SAS University edition is generally shown as html. Additionally it can be downloaded to PDFs and word file. I would like to know how to save SAS datasets in sas format i.e. sas7bdat and saved to local pc.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to save .sas7bdat datasets from SAS University edition?

If you create a libname that points to a folder in your shared folder you can create or save the datasets in that folder.

For instance:

              LIBNAME ONPC "/folders/myfolders/onpc"; * the folder 'onpc' has to exist in your shared folder on the local pc;

              * the next 3 lines create a copy of sashelp.class and saves it as a sas7bdat file on the local pc.;

              data onpc.class;

                   set sashelp.class;

              run;

Does this help?

Best regards, Jos
