How to import excel file from a Mac to SAS studio?

Hello, so I'm using SAS studio on a Mac right now, and looks like I can't find the right way to import my excel file from my Mac into SAS studio, is there anyone who can help solving this issue? Really appreciate your help!

Hi:

There have been many previous postings about importing Excel files. I would recommend that you set up your shared folder for the VM and then make sure that your Excel file is an XLS file and that you use PROC IMPORT with the DBMS=XLS option. You can look at this posting, which has screen shots https://communities.sas.com/message/220542#220542 scroll down to the July 6 post. It should not make a difference if your Excel file was created on the Mac or on the PC, but as a last resort, you can always save your Excel file as a comma separated file and use DBMS=CSV.

If nothing else works after following the suggestions in the previous posts, then you might need to open a track with Tech Support.
