I am trying to execute a libname statement to establish a connection to a relational DB using an ODBC DSN. Here's the program:
libname WWI pcfiles
Here's the resulting log:
Both SAS University Edition and the SAS PC File Server are installed on the same PC, WIN-Pro

Reeza, I don’t think that your answer is correct.
University edition includes SAS/ACCESS Interface to PC Files, the PCFILES engine. This allows one to connect to the SAS PC File Server. The SAS website has documentation of this:
Last year there was a posting by Ksharp to the SAS Analytics U Community Forum that described what I want to do:
I myself got it working last year when I was using University Edition on a Windows 7 computer with earlier versions of UE and the PC Files Server. I am now using a Windows 10 Pro computer and the latest versions of UE and PC Files Server and it can’t resolve the value in the server= libname option.

It can be made to work is my understanding, but there is no official support for attempting to connect SAS UE to a server AFAIK. SAS Support can respond tomorrow to clarify.
Edit: Note that I've stated it's not officially supported, not that it cannot be done. Here's why:
Also, did you remember to add the server to the dsn entries on your computer?
