Entropy reweighting to create balanced samples

Hi,

I have two samples with very different underlying properties and I am interested in applying the procedure discussed in Jens Hainmueller (2011): http://web.stanford.edu/~jhain/Paper/eb.pdf.

I know there are already in-built functions for this procedure in both STATA and R but there does not appear to be one in SAS. Has anyone developped a sample code for this procedure?

Thanks in advance.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics wrote a macro GREGWT which might be what you want. You might need to write to someone who has used it to get a copy.

Re: Entropy reweighting to create balanced samples

Hi,

now, three years later, I am having the same problem.

How have you solved it? Have you written a macro youself or have you been able to use GREGWT?

Thanks for your help.
