ERROR: Procedure EXPAND not found.

[ Edited ]

I need to change date frequency, so I enter the following code:

proc expand data = priceind.combret1 out = priceind.retmon from = week to = month;
      id _DATE_;
      convert afks_r = afks_rmon / observed = total;
run;

but it doesn't work; the report is:

ERROR: Procedure EXPAND not found.

I have SAS/ETS licnced - ran

proc setinit noalias; run;

the report is:

Looks like everything should be working but it doesn't. What's wrong?

I operate SAS University Edition under Oracle Virtual Machine for Windows 7

Re: ERROR: Procedure EXPAND not found.

It's not included in SAS UE.

  • Six procedures from SAS/ETS are included in SAS University Edition to support the forecasting tasks in SAS Studio. The procedures are TIMEDATA, TIMESERIES, ARIMA, ESM, UCM, and TIMEID. You might notice that SAS/ETS appears in the list of products that are included with SAS University Edition. However, only those six procedures are included.
