Hi , i am trying to install SAS edition , but get stuck with this error.

What should I do ?

Can you post the full error and explain at what step you received this message?

 

Also, I assume you followed the set up steps exactly and that the shared folder was set up successfully, and no changes to the VM settings.Can you confirm this?

Yes, @Anjali, please give more details. A screen shot of the error (with the details expanded) would be helpful.

Hi Randy ,

This error comes in when i try to open SAS edition in Virtual machine, i
have not missed any steps during installation

In VirtualBox, select the SAS University Edition vApp, and then select
Machine > Start ................... (this is as recommended and when i
click start it give the below error message ) see the screen shot below

You can't include attachments via email. 

Please attach images for error and set up of VM, including shared folders.

Hi, @Anjali.

 

We really can't help you well without more detailed information, but I'm guessing that virtualization is not enabled. That is a common problem and would occur at the time you are starting your virtual machine.

 

Please check your BIOS settings to see if virtualization is enabled. If you don't know how, this video will show you:
