Download of SAS University is not working, downloading as a text file

Hello,

I am trying to download SAS University. I have successfully installed Virtual Box. When I download the file for SAS it downloads as a text file so I cannot import it into Virtual Box. It needs a .ova file. How do I fix this?

If the download is showing as a text file, it hasn't completed most likely or your computer has inadvertently associated ova files with a text application.

Is the file downloaded about 2GBs?

yes, I believe it was about 1.7? And it did finish. I don't know how to get it to download as a .ova file then

What is the extension it gets? Mine was a 2.3GB download that was OVF (not OVA).

The icon looks like a plain text but the extension shows OVF.

Contact SAS Support then.

I'm assuming you're not right clicking and save as download or anything like that as well. Sometimes you get the txt/email response when you do that rather the file.

Try to change the file extension .txt to .ova directly
