It took a few hours to fix the VT-x problem (thanks You Tube, the SAS site was much less helpful), but now I've got this error message:
This kernel requires an 86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot...
What gives? Is SAS saying my computer is not good enough? Or do I need to go back to BIOS and fix something? My students are fairly low income and may not have particularly sophisticated machines, is this what they would be hammered with when trying to download?
Thoughts? Fixes? Much thanks.

Please describe what you were attempting to do as your post is bit vague.
If you were attempting to install SAS Univerisity Edition then it may be a good idea to check the computer requirements.

For others who encounter this, the answer is part of the SAS Analytics U FAQ.

Hi @jocelyn -- I suggest that you start a new topic with the exact errors you're seeing (include screen shots if possible). Also include whether you're using VirtualBox or VMWare.
