Cannot update

I start the SAS University Edition.

 

1. clicking on Start SAS Studio
2. I get the update Choice (update now or wait).
   I click on : Download the updates now    + Continue
3. I just get back to 1. I repeat.
4. This happens over and over and over again.

    Of course, I can click on waiting and start the Studio, but I cannot get the updates?WHy.
 I use VmWare Workstation (this is updated).

What to do?

Hi, @oves. I'm not sure what may be happening specifically here, but here's what I would do:

 

1) First, I would try in a different browser and see if you get different results.

 

2) I would probably just download the new OVA file from SAS and import it (and re-attach my Shared Folder).

 

Because of the nature of a virtual machine, I usually find it faster just to re-import. I like to recommend what will get you fixed up the quickest way, and this is what I'd do in this case.

I second this. I tried 3 or more time to update using web interface and each is failed, returning an error about the validity of downloads.

Now I try downloading ova file. I was using Firefox and Virtualbox.

Yes, now it works fine.
I really don't know how, but suddenly the update files started downloading...
That is, after several more attempts.
I used IE 11 on Windows 10.

Hi All,

 

I tried from Safari and Chrome browser in Mac and it stops exactly after 3%. If i download a new version rather updating, will i lose all programs and folders created?

 

Please suggest.
