Can't create library in share folder

Hello, i am new to SAS Studio - SASUniversityEdition.

I shareed folder as follows -- C:\SASUniversityEdition\myfolders. Now i am trying to create test library with below code but not able to do it, getting error message.

Code:

libname test "C:\SASUniversityEdition\myfolders";
run;

Error:

1 OPTIONS NONOTES NOSTIMER NOSOURCE NOSYNTAXCHECK;
61
62 libname test "C:\SASUniversityEdition\myfolders";
NOTE: Library TEST does not exist.
63 run;
64
65 OPTIONS NONOTES NOSTIMER NOSOURCE NOSYNTAXCHECK;
78

My assumption is that it shoud creat library with "test" name with above code but getting error message instead. Please advise if are aware of solution, Thank you
Amrish

Re: Can't create library in share folder

You have not read the SAS UE documentation thoroughly. UE runs in a virtual machine using a Linux operating system, therefore you need to use UNIX style syntax to address the shared folder from the Linux side.

Read the documentation again, and follow the instructions.
