The configuration constructor in main failed due to a COM error. Check the release log of the VM for further details. (VERR_MAIN_CONFIG_CONSTRUCTOR_COM_ERROR).

Result Code:

E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Component:

ConsoleWrap

Interface:

IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

Please I need your help

But I tried the suggestions 1 and 2 as detailled below the error is still repeating itself.

Step 1 After installing Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.0.24, I import .ova(file) using this steps
File > Import Appliance… >

Open .ova form my download directory

I clicked on import button after checking reinitialize the MAC Address of all network cards

I created a sub-folder as myfolders within SASUniversityEdition on my PC

My Documents\SASUniversityEdition

My Documents\SASUniversityEdition\myfolders

I selected the created myfolders from VM by using the steps

Machine > settings

Shared folders > Add new

Others… and located the myfolders from the this directory My Documents\SASUniversityEdition\myfolders then ok in Browse for folder dialogue box

I ok the Add Share dialogue box after checking Auto-mount

Then I clicked on Ok in the SAS University Edition - settings dialogue box

I ran the SAS University Edition using the steps machine > start > normal start

At first block screen opened then this error message

In details the error was as shown on the screenshot below

Hi, @siddeeque_83. It looks like you have perhaps changed the operating system to Unbuntu? The operating system should be Red Hat (64-bit). When you important the OVA file, it will have the settings it needs. Please change the operating system back to Red Hat (64-bit) and see if that fixes it.
