Accidentally Saved Over .EGP File! HELP!

reok, I feel like an idiot...

I accidentally saved over my .egp file which I have been working on for (honestly) about a year.  I was trying to work out an error I was getting by copying and pasting a portion of my data file into a new project to see if I could get it to work.  When I tried to reopen the file it stayed on it came up opened to smaller copy/paste project I just started.  GASP!!! I must have accidentally hit save instead of open and clicked on the name of the file I was trying to open back up!  I feel like a total idiot and it would take A LONG time to redo all my calculations from memory and my handwritten notes.

I am working with enterprise guide version 4.3.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I know I should have backed it up, and saved each step...

if if your on Windows your system may have backed it up.

Right CLick on the .egp file in explorer, properties , previous versions.

If you haven't turned on that feature you might be out of luck.

I don't see where there would even be the option?

I see, general, security, and summary tabs.

Where would it be?  I don't think it's there... it's going to be a long night...

In window's explorer if you right click on the file, then click on properties, one of the four tabs is labeled previous versions.

By default EG autosaves projects. IN EG Tools check out the Project Recovery option.screenshot2.jpg
