Hi all,

Regarding Cluster results in Enterprise Miner 14.2 (but I suspect previous versions too):

I note the Segment Plot has some form of color coding, but the colors differ in shade and number from the segments - so what do they signify ?

Image taken from SAS course notes, showing colors in Segment Plot differ from colors in Segment size.

Many thanks,

Daniel.

Hi Daniel,

If you expand out the segment plot you'll see a legend.   The legend refers to ranges, for instance dark green might refer to the range 20-40.  So in the 1st bar chart plot for segment 1 this would mean that within segment 1, approx 95% cases have a range of 20-40 for that variable (the variable referred to is found in the title of the chart).    The legend actually contains all the colours in all the charts with a range attached to each colour.

To check a little more easily what range is associated with which bar you can click on the colour in the legend and the bar that it refers to will be highlighted in one of the charts.

Cheers,

Troy
