What's new for 18 September 2018

  • Corrected styling of "Add Creative" button on Smart Upload page.
  • Daily Window times now respect the time zone under which they were set.
  • Tiers can now be assigned to teams. If a user belongs to a team, and their user account has "Team Restricted" enabled, that user will only be able to interact with tiers assigned to their team.
  • Optimized DNS lookups for network creatives and bidding.
  • Frequency capping is now supported for products. When a visitor reaches the frequency cap specified on a product, they are no longer eligible to be served any flights using that product.
  • Added API and documentation for copying flights.
  • Created new API and documentation for adding tag values. Existing methods are unchanged.
  • Added support for "/EXCLUDEP=" key in ad requests which persists category exclusion for all requests with the same viewid value.
  • A custom crossdomain.xml file can be defined by creating a custom creative format named "crossdomain-xml" with a MIME type of "application/xml". When crossdomain.xml is requested by a third party, the contents of the creative format will be returned.
  • Added support for a custom-defined whitelist of acceptable Origin header values that trigger CORS headers to be included in HTTP responses. Contact SAS Technical Support to enable this feature.
  • Added APPEND support for events in SETSV requests.
  • A new token, "MATCH.", can be used to provide the tag value(s) that were necessary matches for the creative delivered.
  • A FLIGHTID token is now supported which returns the ID of the flight delivered.

What's coming up in the next release

  • Added a "Published" field on the View and Edit Flight pages to indicate whether a flight, or changes to a flight, have been made live. This field is also surfaced in the API.
  • Smart Upload can now handle Javascript-only Sizmek creative tags.
  • SSO feature now includes support for Assertion encryption.
