An initiative to incentivize presenters at local SAS user groups was introduced in 2013 by (SAS Customer Advocacy Manager). The idea is that at each SAS user group meeting, the audience votes for the best presentation (not presenter) of the night via the evaluation form. The awarded best presenter receives an iPod and also goes into the draw for a trip to SAS Global Forum 2014 with flights, accommodation and registration paid for by SAS Australia.
Has this initiative inspired you to present at your local SAS user group? Share your thoughts on this initiative and/or presenting at your local SAS user group.

Opportunity... Share, Present, Win! and Bob Whitehead did that... Presenting at his local SAS user group, WASUP in 2013, Bob was voted presenter for the meeting by the audience. He was placed in a random draw for a trip to SAS Global Forum 2014 and won... It was great hanging out with Bob in Washington, DC. http://blogs.sas.com/content/sgf/2014/03/31/opportunityshare-present-win/
If you're a SAS user in Australia, reach out to your local user group committee to present during 2014 and you have the opportunity to share, present and win too! http://www.sas.com/offices/asiapacific/sp/usergroups/
