Kick start your career in analytics!

[ Edited ]

With an industry skills gap looming, and an estimated 85% of Fortune 500 organizations unable to effectively exploit big data, now is the perfect time to supplement your SAS skills with hands-on work experience within a SAS customer organization.

The SAS Work Placement Program can place a SAS-skilled analytics student into a short-term placement in some of the largest companies in Australia and New Zealand.

Grab the opportunity not only to boost your existing academic training with real-world data experience, but also to get valuable industry exposure that will jump you ahead of the field.

Registrations open 1 August and placement start during the summer university breaks.

For more information, visit http://www.sas.com/au/wpp or email workplacement@sas.com and become part of the data analytics revolution!

And if you are a SAS customer interested in hosting a SAS-skilled analytics student, please also register at the email address provided above.

FYI, Anindra Iswara presented at a QUEST a few years ago about her experience in the Work Placement Program. You can read her blog posts at:

Re: Kick start your career in analytics!

Dear Michelle,

I was wondering, what is the timeline for the selection process for the SAS Work Placement program application?  and is their any particular date to start?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

Hilal

Re: Kick start your career in analytics!

Hi Hilal,

I am not aware of the selection process details. I would suggest you contact SAS directly for this information at workplacement@sas.com

You may find some answers to questions you have at the FAQ's page - http://www.sas.com/en_au/academic/overview.html#m=faqs

Kind Regards,

Michelle
