I would like to add some text to the head-part of ODS HTML output files.
I have found that one posibility is specifying

ODS HTML FILE="example.html" STYLE=MINIMAL headtext="";

but you have to add it each time you use the ODS HTML.

Is there any way how to do it, eg. by PROC TEMPLATE?

I have tried it using the prehtml= option, but the text is added to of document

Thanks!!

If you're using SAS 9, you can modify the DOC_HEAD event in the HTML tagset template:

[pre]
proc template;
define tagset tagsets.myHTML;
parent=tagsets.html4;
define event doc_head;
start:
put "" CR;
put VALUE CR ;
put "" CR;
finish:
put "" CR;
end;
end;
run;
[/pre]

Then you can say:

[pre]
ods tagsets.myhtml file="myexample.html";
/* ... */
ods tagsets.myhtml close;
[/pre]

If you want this change to be in effect for ODS HTML, you can modify the HTML4 tagset directly, or you can map ODS HTML to ODS TAGSETS.myHTML with a SAS registry setting.
