I'm trying to create a report with multiple tabs for each proc report step but instead keep getting multiple workbooks. I've read several postings but none seem to solve my problem. Currently I am running SAS 9.2 and already downloaded the most recent excelxp tagset definitions. Below is my code. Any ideas on how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated.

ods tagsets.excelxp
file="file.xls"
style=sansprinter;

ods tagsets.excelxp options(sheet_interval='none' sheet_name='First sheet');

proc report data=&lib..file1 nowd;
column stat_cd year_range, (accounts loans);
define year_range / across ;
define stat_cd / group;
define accounts / analysis format=18.;
define loans / analysis format=18.;
run;

ods tagsets.excelxp options(sheet_interval='none' sheet_name='Second sheet');

proc report data=work.file2 nowd;
column stat_cd year_range, (accounts loans);
define year_range / across ;
define stat_cd / group;
define accounts / analysis format=18.;
define loans / analysis format=18.;
run;

ods tagsets.excelxp options(sheet_interval='none' sheet_name='Third sheet');
proc report data=work.file3 nowd;
column stat_cd year_range, (accounts loans);
define year_range / across ;
define stat_cd / group;
define accounts / analysis format=18.;
define loans / analysis format=18.;
run;

ods tagsets.excelxp close;
