Re: across variable

Sivas,

When I look at an across variable in PDF, what I see is that the variable is in its own cell surrounded by borders on all 4 sides. What do you want that's different from this? Do you want the variable name underlined?
[pre]

| M | F | Other |

[/pre]
I'm using SAS 9.1.3 SP4 with the default style.

Re: across variable

Hi:
Here's some sample code for RTF and HTML. Right now, these are the only destinations where you can underline. I don't think you'll be able to underline in PDF until SAS 9.2.

[pre]
ods listing close;
ods rtf file='ul.rtf' style=journal;
title font='Arial' h=14pt 'Using PROC REPORT and RTF control string';

proc report data=sashelp.class nowd
style(header)={protectspecialchars=off};
column ('\ul Span Header' name age height);
run;
ods rtf close;

ods html file='ul.html' style=sasweb;
ods escapechar='#';
proc report data=sashelp.class nowd ;
title font='Arial' h=14pt 'PROC REPORT and CSS style property';
column ('#S={htmlstyle="text-decoration: underline;"}Span Header'
name age height);
run;

ods html close;
title;
[/pre]
