Hi,

I have used ods to write output to excel using proc report . The report has only two columns .

I need a footnote at the end of the report , but the footnote appears truncated evethough the text is embedded in worksheet.

Width of the columns in the report above footnotes is controlling the footnote appearence.

To see the entire footnote i have to manually " undo wrap"   and click on "Merge and center"  in the excel.

Please see the attached image for reference. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

M

Hi:

I'm running SAS 9.4 and Excel 2013, when I run code with your long footnote, I don't see the "scrunchiness" that your screenshot shows. Here are my 3 runs. It seems to me you are describing #3, with "wrapping" controlled by cellwidth and row height. But depending on the look you want #1 and #2 look the same, in my Excel, even with different suboptions specified.

Hi Cynthia,

Thanks for the reply . I had this problem when i am running SAS on my Local , but when I run it on the server it works fine.

Not sure for the difference in behaviour. May be something to do with my local environment.
