I am using the ExcelXP tagset to send output from PROC REPORT to Excel, using SAS 9.1.3 and Excel 2002. There are two things in Excel Page Setup that I would like to be able to do but can't figure out -- not sure whether I missed them in the documentation or whether they are not implemented in the tagset:

1. I would like to be able to turn on the "Print Gridlines" option (checkbox in Sheet tab of Page Setup).

2. In addition to the standard top, bottom, left, and right margins, Page Setup has two additional settings to control the margins for the header and footer. Is there a way to set these? I had to increase my preferred .5 inch margin size so the header and footer wouldn't come too close to or overlap the body of the printed sheet.

Thanks!

Hello Mike,

You are correct, there are no options for those settings. I do, however, have
an Excel tagset that does have those options. Send me an email and I'll send it to you... 🙂
