Espoo, 7 June

Abstract

There are many ways for a customer to contact a company: call the call centre, send an e-mail, contact via social media, send a message using an app. These methods of communication can be regarded as the “Voice of the Customer” and it is important that a company handle these comments properly.
From the moment we receive a comment from the customer, we want to understand and classify the comment and then reply to it in an appropriate manner if necessary.

In this demo, on receiving a comment from a customer who is dissatisfied with a bill, an offer is sent to the customer via SMS to tell them that they have been heard. The message will vary, dependent on the model used and also the likelihood of churn.

Abstract

It is easy to build machine learning models in SAS. This type of models is not always good at revealing its secrets. We have an important responsibility to develop and use models in a wise and accountable manner now that GDPR has knocked on the door. However, we must be able to explain how the model has reached its result. Join us on a journey from data to decision.

Presentation number 10 by Jussi Varjus, Aureolis

Espoo, 7 June

Abstract

The presentation is about our experiences in a real life situation analyzing speech data. A real life customer contact center’s telephone calls were recorded and saved as speech data files. The speech data were then converted into textual data using Amazon WS API. The key phrases were identified from the text using SAS® software. SAS Analytics was used in order to predict the pre-classified topic of the conversation, identifying the customer number from the speech and also the possible secondary topic from the discussion.

Abstract

We are moving from the use of local SAS workstations to the use of fully server-side SAS programs with SAS® Enterprise Guide®. We need to replace our current SAS/AF programs. We have used stored processes and HTML user interfaces. We have used jQuery and HTML5 Data Adapter for SAS for different tasks. This presentation is about these solutions/technologies.

FANS Conference 2018: Audit logning på SAS 9.4 platformen

by SAS Employee GeorgMorsing 3 weeks ago - last edited 2 weeks ago by SAS Employee DorteBrix (54 Views)

Presentation number 54 by Rune Nordtorp, SAS Institute

Copenhagen, 6 June 2018

Abstract

Audit logging advanced is a SAS solution that enables you a 360-degree overview of the interactions on the SAS 9.4 Platform. The solution is based on Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) for tracking user activities on the SAS 9.4 Platform. The solution enables the SAS administrator to know which authenticated persons have worked on the platform, and with which permissions. Which information has the persons been searching. Enabling special focus on tables containing Personal Identification (PID). Making the solution an important part of providing a secure solution especially for EU GDPR.

Abstract

FANS Conference 2018: Tips & Tricks - SAS Funktionsbibliotek

by SAS Employee GeorgMorsing 3 weeks ago - last edited 2 weeks ago by SAS Employee DorteBrix (130 Views)

Presentation number 29 by Jesper Michelsen, Nykredit

Copenhagen, 6 June 2018
