With SAS programming, we have many lookup methods. A lookup method is when we want to use a key value to look into a master table and retrieve a value. An example is using a CRS-number to fetch a person’s address.
In this presentation, we will give you an overview of all the possible methods for doing this in the DATA Step and then focus on two of the methods that SAS programmers do not use very often.
