Hi, I am trying to automate a task I currently do in SAS. Right now I manually update a variable to increment by one each week and then run the rest of the SAS code.

The running of the SAS code consists of exporting SAS datasets to a library and also to shared folders, I have found out how to do this automatically, and realized I can schedule for this task to be done using the scheduler feature. How would I go about updating that variable automatically, all it has to do is go up by one each week. Thanks.

Since we haven't bee shown a portion of your data, my answer is very brief: use the INTNX function

Possibly using the Today() function as well (to increment)
