How to using Excel Pivot table using external source as SASdata?

Hi,

I want to use excel pivot table while the data in external source in sasformat.

I enclose the snapshot.

in the table showed in snapshot the 1-3 step is ok, but to step 4 the selection in it is nill.

what can i do?
