The doc states that the SAS Add in works with Microsoft Office, so that includes Access?

No, the SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office does not run in Access. The SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office runs in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and now Outlook -- the more commonly used Office apps. If you have a use-case for Access, we would be interested in hearing.

It would be interesting to how you might use an Access add-in. SAS already has lots of ways to integrate with MS Access, including:

SAS/ACCESS to ODBC (read and write tables)
SAS Enterprise Guide (import and export tables directly)
SAS ODBC driver (to access SAS data from within MS Access): http://support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/odbc/index.html
