Alas, it's tricky to create a data-driven soundtrack with SAS University Edition or SAS Enterprise Guide (with a remote SAS session). There is no "PC speaker" to send the output to. And I don't have any "gobble gobble" noises to script.
But hey, a new installment of Star Wars is coming out soon. Fans who have PC SAS can get in the mood by running this program.
data _null_; length tone 8 len 8; infile datalines dsd; input tone len; call sound(tone,len/2); datalines; 440,500 440,500 440,500 349,350 523,150 440,500 349,350 523,150 440,1000 659,500 659,500 659,500 698,350 523,150 415,500 349,350 523,150 440,1000 ; run;

What a tease @ChrisHemedinger!!! I haven't used PC SAS for years... Might seek to getting it installed to run your code. #curious

Oh that is so awesome and very retro! Thanks for saving my sanity.... I was guessing the tune based on the repeated dataline numbes and distances in the code.

This is so cool. Thanks Chris. It really needs its own topic / thread in communities, and not be hidden under the Turkey plot.
