Hi how would I format the below as a proc freq statement I did it in pure sql
create table a.&ir._report as
select
ageStrata,
gleasonStrata,
count(ageStrata) as thecount,
(select count(ageStrata) from a.&ir._cases_temp) as thetotal,
count(ageStrata)/(select count(ageStrata) from a.&ir._cases_temp) * 100 as pct
from a.&ir._cases_temp
group by ageStrata,gleasonStrata
order by ageStrata,gleasonStrata;
I don't know of a way to get the total in but the rest is generated via:
proc freq data=have;
table agestrata*gleasonStrata/nocol norow list nocum;
run;
I don't know of a way to get the total in but the rest is generated via:
proc freq data=have;
table agestrata*gleasonStrata/nocol norow list nocum;

that doesn't tally up the occurences of say 35-49 where gleason score =7
aaaghhh I am a dummy I was feeding the wrong data you had answered my question
