Hallo,

is tehre any possibility to export a txt file without a header without using the PUTNAMES=NO?

The background is: we use the SAS 9.1.2 and it does not support the PUTNAMES command.

Thank you so much in advance!

Best regards

Julia

Your probably better of writing an exported yourself with datastep file ...; and put commands.  You can do proc export and output the code, then copy that and modify it slightly.

You don't need to involve proc export at all.

filename heart '~/heart.csv';
data _null_;

set sashelp.heart;
   file heart dsd dlm=',';

put (_all_)(:);
   run;

ods csv file='c:\temp\x.txt' ;
proc report data=sashelp.class nowd noheader;
run;
ods csv close;
