macro debugging

with datastep, we have a debug option. similar to that is there any debug option in macros or we have to use mprint,mlogic,symbolgen options only?

These three options give you complete information about what the macro processor was doing. What more do you need?

If you have a macro function that creates a data step that you want to debug then the following might be of help:

Base SAS(R) 9.4 Utilities: Reference

In particular the last section "Debugging a DATA Step Generated by a Macro".
