Re: checking sas version

The macro function %sysprod can be used to see if you have specific SAS products licensed.

%put %sysprod(graph); will place a value in the log, 1 if the product (SAS/Graph in this case) is licensed, 0 if not. The function returns a -1 if you as about something that is not a SAS product.

Or SYSPROD in a datastep.

The automatic macro variables &sysver , &sysverlong contains SAS version information.

Try

%put I am using release: &sysver;

%put I am using release: &sysvlong;

and look in the log for results.

Re: checking sas version

Please also check

PROC PRODUCT_STATUS;

RUN;

This code will give information in the log about the individual components of sas installed in your system and their respective versions.

PROC SETINIT;

RUN;

This will give you information on the sas components and products installed and about the license.

Thanks,

Jag
