change email

Hi,

I changes my email address in http://www.sas.com/apps/userid/login.jsp

But to log in discussion forums it still asks me the old email. Are those two separate accounts? Can I change my email address for discussion forum login?

Thanks,

Ieva

Did anyone find a solution to this problem?  I just want to change the email address I use on these forums without creating a new profile.

you can't do it by yourself. You need to tell SAS and they will make the change for you.

Thanks, but how do you tell SAS?  Who is the point of contact for discussion forum issues?

Re: change email

I just emailed this account and it bounced back saying I could not contact them.  Any other thoughts?

Hi,

Try the link:

You
can change your own email address (new feature on support.sas.com).
Instructions are provided here:

are you still having issues? The email address for the admin is actually communities.admin@sas.com.

You should be able to change your SAS Web profile email address then start using that address to login at communities.sas.com.  there may be a short delay while the two databases sync.  If you are still having problems, please let us know.

How do you delete your profile? I've recently retired and no longer wish to participate.

I will disable your account for you. However, if you simply don't login to the communty any more your account will timeout due to lack of use.

Good luck in your retirement and thank you for your usage of SAS.
