I am palnning to sit in the base programming exam soon.
So far, I have been study the e-learning courses (progarmming 1 & 2). Is this good enough to go for the exam ?
Could someone please give me some suggestions or advice on how to do prepare in the exam ?
For those of you who did the exam before, please tell me if the exam was difficult or easy?

Hello, and good for you for planning to take the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 exam!
I work for the SAS Bookstore, and we sell an excellent book for this: SAS Certification Prep Guide: Base Programming for SAS 9, Third Edition, which is the official guide from our SAS Global Certification Program. It is also available as an eBook from Google Play, Amazon, and the iBookstore.
If you haven’t already, you might want to look at the third tab on our Global Certification group’s webpage for this certification: Exam Preparation. The two eLearning courses you are taking are the ones recommended for this exam. This tab also says “Experience is a critical component to becoming a SAS Certified Professional.” This is true for any of our SAS Certification exams.
If you have more questions, you can ask our Certification group directly: they are great people, very knowledgeable and helpful! You can email them at firstname.lastname@example.org, or (in the US) call 800.333.7660.
Thanks for asking, and I wish you much success on your SAS Certification journey!

Thank you so much for your reply.
I only have the "little SAS book" at the moment, I guess I need more materials to prepare for the exam.
It was a really helpfuly answer, Thank you.
